Size Guide
It's important to measure your foot accurately to find the right size shoe. To work out the size and width you will require, please follow these steps:

 

Measure the length of your foot whilst standing on a flat surface with your full weight bearing down, measure the distance from the back of your heel to the tip of your longest toe.
Measure the width of your foot across the broadest point. Compare this measurment to the footbed width measurements shown on the size chart to see if you need a narrow or regular width.
 
Example: Jackie's foot measures 250mm long and 95mm wide. She looks at her foot length in the below table and finds she will fit comfortably into a size 39 (250mm Footbed Length). At that size, the Regular Width footbed of 97mm will fit her foot perfectly.

Birkenstock Classic Blue Medium Fit Footbed

With the Classic traditional MEDIUM Fit footbed you can enjoy Birkenstock comfort in many different shoes. With its three quarter length it guarantees an optimal fit without having to take into account the length of the forefoot and the shape of the shoe tip. The flattened foot is brought back to its natural arch shape. Wearing this footbed allows for weight to be distributed more evenly allowing the pressure on any given point of the foot to be lower. For shoes with up to a 1 inch heel.

* Offered here in a MEDIUM Fit which is slightly narrower than the Normal Fit.

Birkenstock in the Hills generally ships orders by 3pm every weekday. Shipment is by Express Post via Australia Post. Delivery times after despatch vary from next day delivery for some capital cities, to 4 days for rural areas, and up to a week for remote locations as specified by Australia Post.

Birkenstock in the Hills recommend that you choose a delivery point where someone will be available to take delivery of your purchase.

    Foot bed

    Great service; totally pleased with item, have suffered and tendon injury 6 months past and finding suitable footwear has been difficult, the foot bed is comfortable and helping my recovery.I have a large collection of Birkenstock footwear however sandals are not always practical during cooler weather. Highly recommend the footbed.
