Refunds & Exchanges

ALL RETURNS NEED AUTHORISATION PRIOR TO RETURNING.

If you would like to make an exchange or a refund please notify us by calling 08 83887426 or send us an email to sales@birkenstockhahndorf.com.au and we will provide you with our return postal address. 

We are happy to exchange all full priced purchases within 30 days of the original purchase date. However, the goods must be returned with the original packaging, in an unused condition, this  means that they must be new and unworn. Clearance  items purchased will not be exchanged or refunded unless deemed faulty.

Please enclose the original purchase receipt with your return. Birkenstock in the Hills will only pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. We will not incur the postal fee of returned goods for any other reason, this is the responsibility of you the customer.

Exchange shoes shall be posted to you via Australia Post standard shipping. We will only ship free of charge the exchanged pair once. If any further exchanges are required the shipping cost will be the customer's responsibility.

We will only process refunds or exchanges once we receive your goods and check them for signs of wear, so you may wish to use a postal service or courier with a tracking option to ensure your item has been safely delivered. Any claims for a faulty item, will be forwarded to the manufacturer’s representative in Australia, for their assessment and determination. All consumer statutory rights will apply to these claims.

If your product is deemed to be faulty by the manufacturer we will happily provide you with a refund or replacement if available. We will always process the refund using the same tender type as the original transaction.
